On Dec 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 67 new cases of confirmed infections

17 imported cases	4 in Shaanxi province, 3 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Yunnan province, 2 in Guangdong province, 2 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 1 in Jilin province, 1 in Zhejiang province and 1 in Shandong province
50 indigenous cases	45 in Zhejiang including 39 in Shaoxing and 6 in Ningbo, 3 in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia autonomous region and 2 in Dongguan, Guangdong

no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 38 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 6,988 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 5.

As of 24:00 on Dec 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 10,520 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 10,000 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 520 confirmed cases (including 5 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case.

As of 24:00 on Dec 14, the National Health Commission had received reports of 99,923 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 93,827 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,460 confirmed cases (including 17 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 1,371,391 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 54,009 were still under medical observation.

On Dec 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 24 new asymptomatic cases (22 imported cases; 2 indigenous cases in Dongguan, Guangdong). 17 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (all were imported cases) and no asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on Dec 14, 452 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 404 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Dec 14, 29,324 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 12,495 in Hong Kong (213 had died and 12,180 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 77 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 16,752 in Taiwan (848 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
