Quality Control Inspector

•    Conduct thorough inspections of textile, softline, and hardline goods against established quality standards and client specifications.
•    Inspect for defects in workmanship, materials, functionality, safety, and compliance with labeling regulations.
•    Prepare clear and concise inspection reports, including photographs, to document findings and recommendations.
•    Maintain accurate records of inspections and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Build and manage a QC team and supervise them in their day to day activities and review inspection reports
•    Work collaboratively with Audit team to identify and address quality issues •    Investigate root causes of quality issues, failures, or discrepancies detected during inspections
•    Recommend corrective actions, preventive measures, and quality improvement initiatives to address identified issues, prevent recurrence, and enhance overall quality performance
•    Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality control

•    Minimum 7-10 years of experience in quality control inspection, preferably in the textile, softline, or hardline industry.
•    Mandatory experience working for a third-party inspection and audit company conducting thorough product inspections and audits
•    Open to travel to various factories locations within reach
•    Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
•    Experience with inspection techniques for textiles, softlines, and hardlines (depending on specific product lines).
•    Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for defects.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Steel Structure Inspector​​​​​​​

•    Visual checking element prior to erection
•     Erection control as per drawings
•    Preparation of the project inspection forms

•    Checking welding
•    Inspection as per ITP and specification as enclosed
•    Providing the required inspection tools

• -Good at communicating and being able to overlap the time in China office, if necessary.
• -Be capable for reading different standards within different product categories, either or can learn new ones quickly.

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

2. Minimum 3 years related working experience in TIC industry for consumer product quality management

3. Knowledge of the international quality and safety standards for consumer product.

4. Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business.

5. Experience in customer relationship management.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

7. Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.

Field Service Quality Engineer

1. Assists with the interpretation of project-specific QA requirements, verifies QA plan implementation and evaluates effectiveness by audits and assessments related to VH sites

2. Responsible for Quality site activities, tests, inclusion of appropriate inspections and their acceptance criteria into project documentation that will be deployed into the Supply Chain.

3. Ensure that Quality is being incorporated into projects and processes (prevention), rather than inspected.

-Professional Experience & Education 

1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, as applicable) or equivalent

2. Post Graduate in Business Administration (desirable)

3. Relevant work experience in Quality Management & Quality Engineering

4. Relevant professional experience and knowledge in business processes as well as in non-quality functions like Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Purchasing

5. Successfully attendance of auditing training (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 19011, VDA 6.3)

6. Knowledge in electrical, dimensional and NDT testing

7. Master Turbine, Generator and BoP mechanical products, and basic Hydraulic Power unit structure knowledge, can use these for practice.

8. Maintain the quality data and documentation according to 5S & VHS SOP 607 requirement to complete the quality data book and handover to the customer on time.

9. Complete the reports based on the required format and express the analytic process and solutions clearly and logically by oral and written.

-Specific Skills & Knowledge 

1. Practical knowledge in using IT-tools: SharePoint, SAP, MS Office, database tracking programs

2. Good Lean Management background is an advantage

3. Management and communication skills (incl. but not limited to interpersonal, listening, verbal, written, didactic and presentation)

4. English fluent, written and spoken (additional languages are an advantage)

5. Strong analytical expertise as well as result-oriented, solution-driven (pragmatic) and customer oriented working principle

6. Experienced and willingness to work and cooperate in cross-functional teams

Inspector
