On Jan 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 192 new cases of confirmed infections.

82 imported cases

27 in Shanghai municipality, 18 in Guangdong province, 10 in Fujian province, 8 in Tianjin municipality, 7 in Zhejiang province, 5 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 2 in Sichuan province, 2 in Yunnan province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Henan province, including 8 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 3 in Zhejiang, 2 in Tianjin, 2 in Guangdong and 1 in Henan;

110 indigenous cases

87 in Henan including 74 in Xuchang, 11 in Zhengzhou and 2 in Anyang, 13 in Xi’an, Shaanxi province and 10 in Jinnan district, Tianjin

No new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 138 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 1,370 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 6.

As of 24:00 on Jan 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 11,770 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 10,640 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,130 confirmed cases (including 3 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case.

As of 24:00 on Jan 10, the National Health Commission had received reports of 103,968 confirmed cases and 4,636 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 95,874 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 3,458 confirmed cases (including 21 cases in serious condition) and 1 suspected case. 1,458,340 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 45,090 were still under medical observation.

On Jan 10, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 50 new asymptomatic cases (39 imported cases; 11 indigenous cases in Jinnan district, Tianjin). 20 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (including 18 imported cases) and 8 (imported cases) became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on Jan 10, 721 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 681 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Jan 10, 30,265 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 12,792 in Hong Kong (213 had died and 12,296 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 79 in Macao (77 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 17,394 in Taiwan (850 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
